Gilbert Tan is a mouth painter. He had an accident at the age of 22 and from then on has been paralysed from chest down. He wrote that song and sang it for us today.
Why do we have to see someone who has gone through such challenges in life, to remind us that life is precious and we have choices in this life. So often we take our lives for granted, the things that we have for granted, the people whom we are with for granted.... the love that is shown to us for granted.
There is so much we can give... so much we can do... by slowing down and paying attention to people around us.... be it a kind word... a pat on the back... a helping hand... and even a smile...
