In the newspaper today, there was an article about having a second chance to live the life you want... Leading a second life. Hmm... I thought this used to be called Mid-Life Crisis? At some point of our lives, we wonder about the direction we are heading... somehow, intuitively, we seek a goal and a destination.
The goal and destination may or may not change throughout our lives. I suppose that's how some of us can continue to live the same life till the day we meet our maker... whereas some of us keep chasing our own tails... going round and round in circles... and some of us... lost in nowhere.
A friend of mine has been lamenting alot about his life... About what he seeks... what could be better... what used to be better... perhaps it is the restlessness, the bordeom of facing the mundane, or the realisation that at this point of our lives, we have achieved so little and hence the impatience and disappointment.
Perhaps we are reading too much into it... Perhaps we have been brooding too much... afterall, isn't this what people refer to as "This is Life"?
