Heartache

A deep sense of loss and helplessness overwhelmed her. She is at her wits end. What else can she do? Has she forgotten how to be a teacher? Has she forgotten how to relate to her pupils? Why are they still insist on denying themselves the chance to learn? She felt like she has been talking.. but who's really listening? No one has heard... and no one bothered. No one bothered that her well intentions are not appreciated... no one bothered that she is deeply disappointed by the lack of understanding and maturity. No one can understand at that moment she felt that she has been an utter failure.

She couldn't control her tears. She cried when the class left. The tears didn't and couldn't ease the pain...
